Two men are facing charges after a disturbance breaks out at Providence protest

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Protesters continue to take to the streets protesting racial injustice across the country.
A protest broke out in the city of Providence Monday night. Now Rhode Island State Police say two people are in custody after a disturbance.
Gordon Brillon, 27 of Providence was charged with disorderly conduct for fighting/tumultuous behavior, simple assault and vandalism/malicious injury to property.
Tyler Clapsaddel, 23 of Providence was also charged with disorderly conduct for fighting/tumultuous behavior.
According to police, a police vehicle had minor damage.
A group of protesters gathered in Dexter Park and took to the streets. Police followed at a distance.
Brillon and Clapsaddel were arraigned in court Tuesday morning.
Police are still investigating the disturbance and no additional information is available at this time.
