Mayor Smiley awards local Jeopardy champion with Citizen Citation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Mayor Brett Smiley visited local Jeopardy! champion Matt Harvey during a meeting with Care New England and the Integra Leadership Team to award him a Citizen Citation.

Harvey, the executive director of Integra, was a champion on the show in 2022 and returned recently for the Second Chance Competition.

Smiley’s citation reads, “Your impressive display of intellect, quick wit, and competitive spirit captivated audiences and showcased the talent and determination that represents our city.”

Harvey lives in Providence with his wife and children, who were also there when he received the citation.
