Fundraiser planned for family of 11-year-old killed in fire

MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Acushnet and Middleborough emergency departments are planning to host a fundraiser for a family that lost their 11-year-old daughter in a fire.
The fundraiser will be hosted by Acushnet Creamery from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 9.
Anyone who donates money will receive a free vanilla sundae, and a touch-a-truck and comfort dog event will also be held.
Jasmine Lane was killed in an early morning fire on Feb. 24.
