Raising Cane’s set to open new location in Seekonk

SEEKONK, Mass. (WLNE) – Route 6 in Seekonk has a hot-ticket addition to its vast array of stores and restaurants.

Raising Cane’s is set to open Tuesday on Highland Avenue with a ribbon-cutting ceremony taking place at 9:00 a.m.

Officials said the ceremony will include a “Lucky 20” drawing, awarding 20 customers free Cane’s for a year.

Organizers added that the first 100 Customers to purchase a signature box combo will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a free combo meal on their return visit.

Raising Cane’s said the Seekonk franchise will be its fifth location in Massachusetts and seventh location in the greater New England region.

The chain notably opened a new location in Johnston, R.I. back in January.

The Seekonk location will be open from 10:00 a.m. to midnight daily, according to Raising Cane’s.

“Nicknamed the ‘Fast Times at Speedkonk’ as a play on the town’s famous Speedway, the Raising Cane’s Crew will serve up Chicken Fingers, freshly squeezed lemonade, buttery Texas toast – and, of course, its signature Cane’s Sauce – in lightning-fast fashion,” the company said in a statement.
