Multi-car crash on I-95 sends three to hospital

NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) – Three people were transported to hospitals early Saturday morning after a three-car-crash on I-95 in North Attleboro.
Massachusetts State Police arrived on scene around 3:30 a.m. and closed down a portion of the highway.
Three cars were involved in the crash, and all three drivers were transported to hospitals with injuries.
The first car involved was a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 26-year-old Massachusetts woman. According to State Police, she suffered serious injuries and was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. The woman was also issued a summons for negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked with a lanes violation.
A 38-year-old Central Falls man driving a 2005 Ford F150 suffered minor injuries and was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital. He was issued a summons for operating vehicle with a suspended license.
A 24-year-old North Attleboro man driving a 2017 Mazda 3 suffered serious injuries and was brought to Rhode Island Hospital.
Massachusetts State Police reopened I-95 around 4:40 a.m.
