RI voters reminded of mail ballot application deadline for Presidential Primary

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Secretary of State Gregg Amore and the RI Department of State Elections Division are reminding eligible voters that the deadline to apply for a mail ballot for the Presidential Primary is just around the corner.

Registered voters can apply for a mail ballot using the paper form provided on the RI Department of State’s website.

To use the online application, you must be a registered Rhode Island voter with a valid RI driver’s license or State ID card.

All voters who request a mail ballot will receive a printed ballot regardless of whether they request the tangible form.

The Presidential Primary will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Deadlines to apply for the online ballot is March 12 at 4:00 p.m.

In addition to voting by mail, voters have the option of voting early in-person between March 13 and April 1.
