Cranston Councilman hosts mayoral campaign kickoff

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Cranston City Councilman Robert Ferri held a kickoff event for his mayoral campaign at Lang’s Bowlarama on Sunday.
“This isn’t all about Robert Ferri, this is about all of us,” Ferri said.
He outlined his campaign goals and promises to over 100 gathered supporters, including bettering government communication, improving basic services, and keeping neighborhoods safe.
“That’s why you’re here, because you want to be part something that will make a difference in the City of Cranston,” Ferri said.
He added that he and his campaign team have spent four months preparing the campaign and gathering donations via phone calls.
“Working together we’re going to change and improve the way this city does business,” Ferri said.
