3 teen bicyclists injured after being hit by car in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Three boys were hurt after being hit by a car while riding bicycles in West Warwick.
Police said two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old were hit on Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of West Warwick Avenue and Main Street.
All three boys were taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital, with two suffering serious injuries, per authorities.
Officials said none of the injuries were life threatening, adding that the driver of the car stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Police said the crash is being investigated by a crash reconstruction unit, detective division and patrol division.
