360 High School to hold parent information session about proposed merger

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — 360 High School is holding another parent information session about the school’s planned closure.

The meeting will be held at 360 High School tonight from five to six this evening.

Last month, 360 high school students and staff found out their school will merge with Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex at the end of this school year.

Some teachers are not expected to be part of the merger.

The state department of education says the decision for the merger is “to expand access to educational offerings for students.” and claim student’s under-performance is a reason for the closure.
