RIDE will hold multiple statewide education job fairs

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Governor Dan McKee and the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) announced that the agency will host multiple job fairs for education-focused careers.

The first job fair will be held virtually on March 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for upcoming graduates who are seeking employment opportunity in RI education.

Future educators are encouraged to register for the virtual job fair.

Two in-person job fairs will be held on April 3 from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and June 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick.

RIDE shared that over 430 job candidates attended last year’s job fair and nearly 100 interviews were conducted on the spot.

In addition to the recruitment effort and following school mergers and closures, RIDE launched Educate401.org, an online recruitment and resource hub for educators.
