Part of East Bay Bike Path to close for repairs

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management said that one-and-a-half miles of the East Bay Bike Path in Riverside will be closed for repair work.

The closure is set to take place from March 19 to March 22 and will start from the Squantum Association intersection to the intersection of Bullocks Point Avenue and Washington Avenue.

RIDEM said the work should repair damage to the path caused by tree roots, and no detours will be put in place at at the closure points.
