UPDATE: Adoption application reviews to begin for Hopkinton golden retriever puppies

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The dozens of golden retriever puppies rescued by the Rhode Island SPCA last week are currently being treated for ringworm, but  so far all of the tests have come back negative according to officials.

They will continue keeping the dogs in foster care until they are spayed and neutered, but Monday they will begin reviewing the adoption applications for them.

The puppies should be released soon, but the adult dogs have more medical needs that will required them to say a little longer.
