61 DUI arrests made in Rhode Island over St. Patrick’s Day weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — There were 61 DUI arrests made over the holiday weekend between several state agencies.

The Rhode Island State Police recorded 24 DUI arrests, along with 17 motor vehicle crashes and 165 various traffic citations.

The Rhode Island DUI Task Force arrested 37 people for alcohol-related offenses.

The task force is an assembly of members from cities and towns in Rhode Island.
