Rep. Magaziner announces $1.5M in funding for clean water in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — U.S. Representative Seth Magaziner and Sen. Jack Reed secured $1,576,031 in federal funding to improve wastewater infrastructure in West Warwick.
This will aid in the prevention of pollution from entering the Pawtuxet River, ensuring that Rhode Islanders have clean water.
Improvements and renewing the system through inspections, tests, and cleaning of sewer interceptors will be made through this secured funding.
The wastewater facility serves over 20,000 residents in communities surrounding West Warwick.
