Crews respond to fire in downtown Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters responded Thursday morning to reports of a fire in an apartment complex in downtown Providence.

Several crews arrived at Flower Ave and Whalen Road and knocked on doors checking on residents of nearby buildings.

The investigation into the scene appears to be ongoing.
