Pell Bridge ramp construction work postponed

JAMESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Scheduled Pell Bridge ramp construction has been postponed due to bad weather in the forecast.   

The scheduled lane closures for this weekend on Route 138 east and west between the Pell Bridge and JT Connell Highway will now begin on Friday, April 5 at 5 p.m.  

Work is expected to wrap up now on April 8 at 7 a.m. 

While road work is underway drivers can expect left lane closures. 

The work is part of the ongoing Pell Bridge ramp project.
