Body of a male pulled from Providence River near East Bay Bike Path

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A body was pulled out of the Providence River on Kettle Point Avenue behind the East Bay Bike Path Thursday.
East Providence Police said that a male was found dead in several feet of water by someone on the bike path around 7:15 p.m.
Police do not yet have an identification or an age for the victim, and the body is with the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police added that the death does not appear suspicious.
