New Bedford beach passes now for sale
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The city of New Bedford has announced that beach passes are now available for purchase.
According to a spokesperson for the city, seasonal parking passes for East Beach, West Beach and Fort Taber are now available.
Beach passes are available at the Parks, Recreation and Beaches office at 181 Hillman St. Building 3, the Clerk’s Office at City Hall at 133 William St., the Traffic Commission office at the Elm Street Parking Garage, and at the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center at 181 Hillman St. Building 8.
The passes are $15 for New Bedford residents, $5 for residents aged 65 and older, $30 for residents of Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Acushnet, Freetown, and Assonet, and $60 for other non-residents.
Payment is cash-only ahead of the season, and passes can be purchased using credit cards at beaches starting in May.
