26th Annual Photo Contest coming to Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The City of Pawtucket in association with Camera Werks will hold the 26th Annual City of Pawtucket Photo Contest.
The contest will have twelve winners who will be placed on the 2025 city calendar.
Pawtucket hopes to bring awareness to the history and daily life of the city through the lens of local photographers.
The contest is open to residents and non-residents, and photos have to be taken in Pawtucket.
The theme of this year’s contest will be “Pawtucket Grows” and was submitted by Jax Adele of Pawtucket.
The contest rules require that every photo must follow the theme and be taken in Pawtucket within the last year.
Each entry must be submitted by the photographer entering the contest and only one entry per contestant will be allowed.
Black and white or color photos will be accepted, but photos must be horizontal to accommodate the calendar format.
Photos must be uploaded in JPEG format, should be high resolution DPI and should be emailed to psz333@aol.com.
Digital camera or cell phone photos are acceptable.
Cash prizes will also be given out to top four photos in the amounts of $100, $75, $50 and $35.
All other winners will receive gift certificates.
The winners will be announced by Mayor Donald Grebien on September 29 on the Pawtucket city website.
