PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday morning, U.S. Senator Whitehouse, Lieutenant Gov. Matos, and Central Falls Mayor Rivera joined Tides Family Services in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new recreation center on Dexter Street.

The renovated recreation space will help Tides to expand services in children’s behavioral healthcare and wellness in the communities of Central Falls and Pawtucket.

This revamped 3,000-square-foot space will hold athletic, recreational, cultural, and social activities.

Some of the renovations include a new mural painted by artist Vensa Longton and a brand-new basketball court.

To reserve this space, contact Tides Family Services at (401) 822 – 1360 or visit www.tidesfs.org.
