The window is now open for local candidates to request a recount

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE)- According to the Rhode Island Board of Elections, today begins the 7-day period where local candidates are able to request a recount.

It’s encouraged that the candidates review the unofficial results on the Board’s website before filing a request.

The deadline for requests to be received at the Board of Elections (2000 Plainfield Pike, Cranston, RI 02921) is at 4PM on Tuesday, November 17th.

Recounts will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18th at the Pastore Youth Center located at 155 Gansett Avenue, Cranston.
