Voting in the Presidential Primary
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Tuesday voters in four states, including Rhode Island, will weigh in on their parties’ presidential nominees.
Both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have already clinched their party’s nominations.
Biden and trump are expected to easily win primaries today in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York and Wisconsin and add to their delegate hauls for their party conventions this summer.
Some of those delegates are on the ballot here in the ocean state.
You can vote in-person or by dropping your mail-in ballot off at any secure elections drop box.
You can find those at the board of elections or in-person at your local polling location.
Polling places will be open until 8 p.m. tonight.
As long as you are in line before 8 p.m., you will be allowed to cast your ballot.
