Brockton, Mass. State Police investigating apparent murder-suicide

BROCKTON, Mass (WLNE) — Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that took place Tuesday morning.

At approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police were alerted to a call of an apparent murder-suicide by firearm at a home at 524 Ash Street.

Brockton police received two 911 calls on the incident, one from inside the home and one from a neighbor reporting gunshots.

First responders located a female on the scene with multiple gunshot wounds in the driveway.

Sheron Trowers, 56, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police entered the home and found Carlos Brown, 61, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This investigation is ongoing by both the Massachusetts State Police and Brockton police.
