Providence Municipal Courts halt arraignments and hearings until further notice

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Chief Judge Frank Caprio announced Sunday that the Providence Municipal Courts will cease all arraignments and hearings until further notice.
According to the Providence City Council, anyone with a trial date to appear before the Municipal Court during the closure will receive a new summons in the next upcoming days.
Fines can be paid online or in-person Monday through Friday form 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Public Safety Complex.
