Crews respond to overnight car fire in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A car fire is now extinguished in Fall River.

Fall River’s fire and police departments responded to a report of a fire just after 1 a.m. on Varley Street.

Firefighters evacuated residents in a nearby home as they worked to put the fire out.

The fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause.
