Fallen tree causes severe damage to NH home

EAST KINGSTON, N.H. (WLNE) — New Hampshire’s East Kingston Fire Department responded early Thursday for a report of a tree that fell onto a home.

Around 8:00 a.m., the fire department responded to a home on Depot Road for reports of a tree that had fallen and struck a home.

Upon arrival, crews observed heavy damage to the exterior.

It was reported that both residents were home at the time, but safely made it out with their cat.

There were no reported injuries, but the home was deemed a total loss.

The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
