New coastal European concept restaurant Celeste opens in Narragansett

NARRAGANSETT, R.I. (WLNE) — A new restaurant is opening its doors in Narragansett, offering coastal European cuisine in southern Rhode Island.

Celeste offers coastal European dishes, and an al fresco dining experience along the ocean.

The menu, which is from Executive Chef Andrew Gould and Newport Restaurant Group’s team, features a raw bar, expanded pizza menu, shareable small plates and entrees inspired by dishes found in coastal Italy, France and Spain.

The raw bar items feature local oysters, wild Rhode Island clams, poached shrimp and more.

The menu also includes starters, salads, sandwiches, entrees and a hand-crafted cocktail menu.

Celeste replaces TRIO Kitchen + Bar at 15 Kingstown Road in Narragansett.
