Did you feel it? Southern New Englanders sound off on feeling today’s earthquake

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) A 4.8 magnitude earthquake centered in Lebanon, New Jersey could be felt throughout Southern New England. Many NOW LOCAL NEWS App users posted about feeling it the quake from hundreds of miles away. You can download the NOW LOCAL NEWS App and share news too!

Kristina Gomez was the first post to the NOW LOCAL NEWS App, asking if anyone else felt the quake.

Lisa Tovino sent in this video saying she felt it all the way on the 6th floor of Newport Hospital.

Jennifer Townsend says she felt it in Attleboro.

Sonja Garro was also in Attleboro but she did not feel it. She has friends though that did in East Providence.

Mark Quan talks about seeing his lamps moving during the quake.

Rhonda Gower didn’t feel it, nor did her son in New York! She says his neighbors felt the ground shaking though!

Nina Pellechio couldn’t feel it in Portsmouth, but her mother in New Jersey just miles from the epicenter did!
