Dartmouth town employee charged with rape, assault

PROVIDENCE (WLNE)- Kevin Nunes, 48, of North Dartmouth, Massachusetts has been arrested for rape and indecent assault and battery on a person over 14 according to a statement from Westport police.

Westport Detective Sergeant Christopher Dunn confirmed Nunes was an employee of the Town of Dartmouth Water Department, but could not comment on other aspects of the case.

Nunes posted a $5000 bail at a dangerousness hearing. He will be under curfew and required to wear an ankle monitor.

Additionally Nunes is forbidden from having any contact with the victim or witnesses.
