Clearing in Time for the Eclipse

Finally sunshine is in the forecast! The area of low pressure that brought the nor’easter last week has been lingering off the coast of Maine ever since, is finally expected to move out to the east. As a result, clearing is in the forecast for tonight and sunshine will fill our day on Monday. Temperatures will start out quite cold in the low-30s, but with a day of sunshine, we should top out in the lower-60s. If you’re making a plan to watch the partial eclipse locally, don’t forget the sunblock! Two hours in full sun is more than enough to get sunburned. Moving on to Tuesday, look for another Spring beauty with highs again in the 60s. Unsettled weather returns to Southern New England Wednesday with increasing clouds and the chance of showers arriving after noontime. Rain and winds stick around through Friday. Next weekend looking bright and dry with highs near 60.
