Body recovered from Warren River

WARREN, R.I. (WLNE) — Police said a body was recovered from the Warren River on Monday.
The Warren Police Department said it received a call at 1:15 p.m. for an unresponsive person in the river behind the town docks off of Water Street.
Responding officers arrived to find a white man in his 50s in the water confirmed dead on-scene.
Officials said they are withholding the identity of the individual while they notify family members.
The incident is still under investigation.
