ACI facility placed on lockdown after altercation between inmates

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — An Adult Correctional Institute facility was placed on lockdown after an altercation between inmates on Tuesday.

Public Information Officer J.R. Ventura said the altercation occurred at the Intake Service Center, which was placed on restricted movement status for “security reasons” after the incident.
