URI College of Nursing ranked among nation’s best

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The University of Rhode Island shared that the College of Nursing programs once again ranked among the top nursing colleges in the United States.
According to the most recent U.S. News & World Report rankings, the college’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program ranked number 66 of 354 nursing schools across the country, jumping from a rank of 86 last year.
URI also noted that the college’s master’s program continues to display impressive performance. For the third year in a row, the program ranks among the top 50 in the nation, out of 603 nursing schools surveyed.
The university’s undergraduate Nursing program tied at number 67 out of 656 in the country for the second year in a row, which was previously ranked number 96.
