Showers move in on Thursday, heavy rain and wind in store for Friday
We’ll have to wait several more days before we get bright sunshine again. Cloudy skies will continue through tonight, with perhaps some patchy fog or drizzle developing late.
A wave of midday showers will push through on Thursday, but we should have at least some dry hours. Rain redevelops Thursday night and the ‘main event’ arrives early Friday morning.
Expect the heaviest rain to end by noon on Friday, but the wind will still be gusting throughout the day. Wind gusts will be 35-45 inland and 45-55 at the coast.
Expect only minor improvements over the weekend. Saturday will be partly sunny at best and still breezy, with a leftover sprinkle. Sunday will start with sun but could finish with showers.
Marathon Monday looks superb with ample sunshine and highs well up into the 60s!
