PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)– Rhode Islanders looking to get a taste of Federal Hill won’t have to venture further than their front door, with a new delivery service announced by the Federal Hill Commerce Association today.

The service, which will be offered within a 12-mile radius of Federal Hill, will be provided free until Dec. 31,  according to a statement from Federal Hill Commerce Association Executive Director Rick Simone.

The promotion is a partnership between the association and a new delivery service DASAP — Delivery As Soon As Possible.

“From now until Dec. 31, anything you would like from various merchants, restaurants and businesses from Federal Hill, we will have delivered through DASAP at no charge to the business or customer,” Simone said.

Deliveries will also include a free bottle of sanitizer from local company Sanitides, Simone said.

“My family has an extensive history of being a part of the Hill, and we are excited for this opportunity,” said Kenneth Zorabedian, president of DASAP.

“This initiative delivers on the goal of helping restaurants and other small businesses stay afloat while Rhode Islanders stay safe,” Rhode Island Commerce Secretary Stefan Pryor said.
