Mayflower II travels through Cape Cod Canal on its way to Plymouth

BOURNE, Mass. (WLNE) — The Mayflower II replica was towed through a fog-shrouded Cape Cod Canal at 7:15 a.m. Thursday morning near the Bourne Bridge & Railroad Bridge.

This journey is taking the iconic ship from Mystic, Connecticut to Plymouth, Massachusetts.

A crowd gathered to watch the ship’s journey to its destination.
