UPDATE: Truck, home damaged in Fall River shots fired incident

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Monroe Court on Wednesday at approximately 6:55 p.m.

According to Fall River police, officers observed a pickup truck with damage that appeared consistent with a bullet hole, as well as damage to a nearby residence.

Multiple shell casings were also found during a canvass of the area.

Police said there is no evidence that anyone was struck by any of the shots.

The investigation is ongoing by the Major Crimes Division of the Fall River Police Department.
