Burrillville man charged with possession of ghost gun, large capacity magazines

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Burrillville man has been charged for possession of a ghost gun and large capacity magazines, according to the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office.

Michael Durvin, 57, has been charged with one count of possession of a ghost gun, one count of possession of a large capacity magazine and one count of disorderly conduct.

Warwick police responded to reports of a man in a black Toyota Highlander brandishing a firearm at another driver during a road rage incident on May 19, 2023.

Durvin was located and stopped at a Cumberland Farms in West Warwick.

Upon searching his vehicle, police found a Polymer 80 9mm handgun, a Glock handgun and five 15 round magazines.

Durvin will be arraigned Friday at Kent County Superior Court.
