MassDOT to perform New Bedford corridor improvement through 2029

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be conducting corridor improvements and related work on County Street from Nelson Street to Union Street in New Bedford starting April 15.

The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily.

MassDOT said that work is scheduled to continue into 2029 and construction activities will occur as weather and other factors allow.

Drivers travelling through the area should use caution and expect delays.
