Local figure skaters to represent Team USA at international competition in France

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Eighteen local figure skaters from the Pawtucket and Providence Figure Skating Club will represent the United States in France for the Nations’ Cup on April 24.

The team, Ocean State Ice Theatre, is one of four novice teams from the U.S. and features team members from both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

The team added that this is the sixth time it has been selected to represent the nation at the competition.
