Controlled burn to be conducted in Coventry

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE) — Monday in Coventry the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is conducting a controlled burn.

Its set to take place at the Nicholas Farm management area.

The DEM says there is no need for residents to call 9-1-1 if they see smoke or fire in the area but they do advise the public not to approach.
