Three dead dogs recovered along Barrington coastline

BARRINGTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Three dead dogs have washed up along the Barrington coastline over the past few months.

The Barrington Police Department said the dogs were recovered from Narragansett Bay in separate instances from February through April.

Officials said the dogs were secured in a neighboring Animal Control freezer, but authorities have been unable to locate an owner.

The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals was contacted to assist in the investigation.
