Dogs from Pawtucket hoarding home ready for adoption

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The dogs removed from a Pawtucket home earlier this month are ready for adoption.
The Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Pawtucket animal shelter, as well as Pawtucket police removed 46 dogs from a Pawtucket home back on April 8.
Helena Galvao and 69-year-old Jose Galvao were charged on April 17 with 46 misdemeanor counts of unnecessary cruelty under the animal cruelty statute for failing to provide the dogs with adequate living conditions.
