WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A sit-in protest took place at Rep. Seth Magaziner’s office Thursday calling for the congressman to vote no to sending more military aid to Israel.

Organizer Adelaide Dicken said that “more than a dozen Jewish Rhode Islanders with Jewish Voice for Peace – Rhode Island read the names of Palestinians killed in Gaza in the last six months.”

ABC 6 News has reached out to Magaziner’s office for a comment and is waiting to hear back.

More than 100 pro-Palestinian demonstrators were arrested at Columbia University as well on Thursday, and the U.S. and U.K. have both issued new sanctions against Iran to deter further escalation after the country launched a drone attack on Israel.
