Fort Adams Park to host Newport Beer Festival this weekend

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — Newport Beer Festival will return to Fort Adams Park this weekend.

On Saturday, 50 breweries will offer more than 100 selections of beer. The event will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and will feature live music multiple different food vendors.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Rhode Island Brewers Guild.

Ticket purchasers will be entered into a drawing for a prize valued at $400, to the Fort Adams Trust’s annual Fourth of July celebration. Tickets includes hospitality spread, open bar and a front row seat to the City of Newport’s fireworks display.
