Crews respond to tractor trailer fire on I-95 in Exeter

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A tractor trailer truck was captured on video engulfed in flames on Route 95 North in Exeter Tuesday at approximately 9 a.m.

The ABC6 viewer submitted video shows heavy flames and black smoke billowing out of the vehicle.

An ambulance and a Rhode Island State Police cruiser were also on the scene that closed off the right hand lane.

Fire crews from West Greenwich assisted Exeter firefighters in extinguishing the blaze.
