New traffic pattern to be installed in Burrillville

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE) — Starting tonight, a new traffic pattern is coming to Route 102 in Burrillville.

The work will begin at 8 p.m. and go through midnight as lanes are re-striped and all bridge traffic will shift to the southbound lanes.

A spokesperson for the Rhode Island Department of Transportation said crews will install a new pattern at the Pascoag River and Lapham Bridges between Route 102 and Central Street.

RIDOT is also currently replacing the Lapham Bridge and rehabilitating the Pascoag River Bridge through a $12.6 million project, which will be completed in the summer of 2025.
