New Bedford High School to cut ribbon on new athletic field

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — New Bedford High School will celebrate the opening of their new athletic field Tuesday, April 30 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell, New Bedford Public Schools Superintendent Andrew O’Leary and members of the New Bedford High School community will be on hand for the ceremony.

The artificial turf will be home to the New Bedford High School lacrosse and field hockey teams.
