Some U.S. restaurants using hotel rooms for private dining

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Some restaurants across the country are taking a creative new approach to stay afloat during the pandemic.

Some are using empty hotel rooms… As dining spaces.

According to Bloomberg, the country’s hotel occupancy rates are at historic lows. This trend is happening more and more as temperatures drop around the country, because dining out in the cold isn’t very appealing.

Bloomberg reports a restaurant in Philadelphia has teamed up with a hotel to offer a three course dinner… Inside a hotel room for three hours.
