Pawtucket receives $400,000 grant for playground improvements

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — Pawtucket announced Wednesday that it had been selected to receive a $400,000 Rhode Island DEM Outdoor Recreation Grant.

The grant money will be used for improvements to the John Street Splash Pad and Playground.

Pawtucket’s application was selected among 41 total applications for the funds.
